SlowpulseBy downloading or using Slowpulse you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to all apps distributed through the App Store.
Slowpulse is not a medical device
This is the most important term here. Slowpulse is a general wellness app. It is not a medical device and has not been reviewed by any medical regulator. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, monitor or prevent any disease or condition.
The "stress score" is an arithmetic comparison of your recent heart rate and heart rate variability against your own recent averages. It is an indication, not a finding. Do not use it to make medical decisions, and never delay seeking professional advice because of something the app did or did not show you.
If you feel unwell, or if you are concerned about your heart, contact a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Accuracy
Readings come from Apple Health and depend on your Apple Watch, how it is worn, and how consistently you wear it. Gaps in data produce gaps in scoring. Slowpulse needs roughly two weeks of readings — overnight readings in particular — before it can score anything at all.
Licence
You are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use Slowpulse on devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service. You may not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
Purchases and subscriptions
- Premium (annual) — US$29.99 per year, or the equivalent in your local currency.
- Lifetime — US$79.99 once, no recurring charge.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. An annual subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the current period.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us, under Apple's own policy. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Prices may change; any change applies only to future purchases and renewals, and you will be notified as Apple requires.
Purchases are tied to your Apple Account and can be restored on your other devices using "Restore Purchases" in Settings.
Your data
Slowpulse stores your health data only on your device and transmits none of it. See the Privacy Policy. Keeping that data backed up is up to you — deleting the app deletes its data, and we cannot recover it, because we never had it.
Disclaimer and liability
Slowpulse is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scores will be accurate for you specifically. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, you keep all statutory rights that cannot be excluded.
Changes and termination
These terms may be updated; the current version always lives at this address, with the date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it. You may stop using Slowpulse at any time by deleting it.
